Word of the Day: Ragnarok.
Random thought for the morning. Have the radio on, and it's a familiar song but for the life of me the name of the artist and the song itself escapes me. I blame the fuzziness still lingering.
Anyway. Was listening and EVERY time, I hear this:
And that's faith and trust and peace while we're alive...
My brain says this:
And that's faith and trust and pixie dust.
....
Yeah.
I'm going to go read my Norse mythology now. Bring it on, Loki! Ragnarok, here I come.
(May I fangirl my mythology for a moment? Odin! Thor! Freyr and Freiya! Frigg! Vanhalla! Valkyries! Fenrir! Midgard serpent! Aesir! Giants and trolls and dwarves and humans and gods-in-disguise! And the awesomeness of the *stories*... Loki with his monster children, and bound up for eternity with venom dripping on his face! One-eyed Odin! RAGNAROK. Dude, I'm just saying.)
::cough::
Yeah, so maybe I've loved Norse mythology since 5th grade. =P Heh. Poetic Eddas, here I come!
Course, then must write a paper on them. Specifically on the Ragnarok portion. Heee.
Also have 2 Morrison books to read and a 10 page paper about her books... although 6 pages already exist. (Have to love professors who encourage you to expand existing essays for your final paper!)
