Off to a wedding... Joy.

Going to a wedding tomorrow in Millinocket.
Which is 3 to 4 hours away. >_<
Let's put it this way: the highway exits are marked according to mileage. I get on at exit 47. Millinocket is exit 244.
Oh, and picking up Steph and Tina on the way.
Who BOTH would like to be picked up in different places, rather than making things easy for me by meeting me in Augusta, where I am in familiar territory.
Oh no. Augusta is south of where they both live, so it makes more sense for them to meet me north.
Except *I* am driving, and *I* am coming from the south, so... what?
In other words, what I gathering is that they just want to have to go out of their way as little as possible and get there and back as quickly as possible and never mind that by the time I pick up even one of them, I will have already been driving for an hour and a half.
Argh.
But! It should be a nice time.
I'm just stressed and have a lot to do, but oh well. We're staying in a hotel Saturday night so I don't have to drive 8 hours in one day, and I don't have to drive after dark. I like this plan.
So... leave me nice things to return to? :) Give me something to look forward to while I'm stuck in a car and hotel room with certain people.. =P
It will be good. (She tells herself.)

I hope the wedding is nice, and that you have a nice drive, what with all the pretty fall colors =). I've never been that far north, tell me what it's like =).

Something to be thankful for
Date: 2006-10-14 09:53 pm (UTC)Like I did. Yes, they were so tired they let me help drive on just a permit after being warned that I think anything speed limits are just gentle suggestions.
There, do you feel a little better and less stressed now? Lol. Btw, did I tell you I have a job? I'm an auditer. I count every tiny piddling peice of merchandise in a store. Yay me? You'll have a good time at the wedding with your poofy cupcake of a dress (even though it isn't) dancing with the socially awkward groomsman you're paired with, and drinking yourself silly. Have fun and perhaps I will have written you a atory by monday night (I I don't die of my 20 hour shift tomorrow)

Date: 2006-10-17 12:41 am (UTC)I can just say that at LEAST I wasn't part of this wedding. As I *missed* the wedding, that would have made things even worse. =P
Posting about it soon. Oi.
