Rainy Saturdays are good for computer time...

I am glad it's still October, if only because if this storm were snow instead of rain? We'd be buried by now.

What we have here is another good ole fashioned Nor'Easter. =P I'm glad I'm inside today.

But! First:

I ♥ my flist!

Thank you, everyone, for the lovely things you said and the comments to my last post! =D You do know how to cheer a girl up! [livejournal.com profile] scribophile sent me half-nekkid Sawyer, [livejournal.com profile] minisinoo linked me to a VERY interesting looking RPG and ::squee!:: [livejournal.com profile] zoe_chan wrote me Helga/Salazar with teaching!!!! ♥!

:)

In case any one is interested, made it through the week in one piece. I'm glad it's over. Mom and I made plans to go eat at our favorite restaurant Thursday night, and there were margaritas involved. YUM. So, instead of just trying to get through the day, we had something to look forward to. AND we had the BEST waiter ever, and since they lost the slip for my burrito they took it off the bill! Free food! Then we went shopping. So, Thursday was a nice evening--although we came home and went straight to bed, having been out all night.

Friday was nice, too--went to a baby shower for the woman I'm subbing for. Then came home and had dinner with Mom and my brother, which was followed by another shopping spree with Mom. :) I bought Zoo Tycoon 2: Zookeeper Edition!!! ::loves:: I am eagerly awaiting the chance to play.

Then we came home and watched Over the Hedge, which is cute. Then, to bed.

Woke up today, and behold! STORM of stormiffic proportions. :) Holing up in the house with kitties, a space heater, papers to grade, books to read, stories to write and Zoo Tycoon to play. Sounds like my kind of Saturday. Also, we are teaching ourselves how to crochet. This should be interesing. :)

AND I baked coffee cakes this morning! (Yes, plural.) I'm very proud of myself, having only done this once before--last Christmas. And I graded a stack of papers a mile high--I quit for awhile. :)

We are having a favorite dinner tonight, too.

And my neighbor just called to see if she can borrow an egg. This makes me smile. (The answer is yes, she certainly can--her daughter started making brownies and was one egg shy.) :)

So, I am most certain I will do [livejournal.com profile] yuletide this year. :) Yay!

Now, my agenda: Newest chapter of "Finding Himself" is up! Wee, off to read! Then, Zoo Tycoon!!!! :)

And, lastly, a meme! Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] thistlerose: Ask me anything about my stories and/or writing process: inspiration, process, characters, what the hell was I thinking, etc. No limit on questions, just ask away.
