First of the requested drabbles, Tonks-style

Wee!! I actually wrote tonight! =D Although I stayed up later than I meant to. Heh.

So! First few drabble meme requests:

For zoe_chan; Tonks as a child, with Sirius:

Nymphadora Tonks knows what this knot in her stomach is. She doesn’t like it. It’s silly to be jealous of a baby.

But Sirius hasn’t said anything all night that hasn’t started with "Harry this" or "Harry that."

Never has she had to work for his attention. She’s the one he dotes on and brags about. Not some baby. She’s old enough to know she shouldn’t be jealous, but she's still seven. She can’t help it when her hair goes mousy brown.

Sirius pulls her into his lap and whispers, "you’re still my favorite cousin, Sprite. No baby changes that."

Also for zoe_chan; Tonks and Remus, fluff (drabble and a half, 150 words):

Remus’ first thought on waking was that he had lost all feeling in his right arm. Yes, there was definitely no feeling whatsoever. His second thought on waking was that this was probably due to the woman lying on top of it.

He poked her in the side with his free hand. "Nymphadora."

She raised her head and glared blearily. "What?"

"You’ve cut off circulation in my arm."

She blinked at him from behind strands of turquoise hair. Gently, he pushed them behind her ear and kissed her nose. Then he said, "Get off my arm, love."

Tonks, awake now, smiled sheepishly and rolled off his arm on to his stomach. "Sorry."

Remus shook his head, wincing as he tried to move the blood-deprived limb. Tonks moved suddenly. He frowned and asked, "What are you doing?"

She grinned and leaned in to kiss him. "Checking the rest of your circulation."


Sadly, with this meager offering, I believe it is PAST bedtime. =P

Haha, well, I did completely ignore bedtime and sanity for that productiveness and this morning regret it slightly. ;) But not much.

I swear the fact that I am ACTIVELY trying not to procrastinate IS a sign of the End Times. Just a warning.

My dear, these are wonderful! Thank you so so so so much!!! I love you Tonks! Especially in the first one with the "She can’t help it when her hair goes mousy brown." That's so pretty. And I *died* when she moved to "check his circulation." HA!!!

I am so glad you liked them!! =D Especially since writing Tonks was very daunting, since you love her so much and I wasn't all that confident about writing her!
