lady_sarai: (Liberty Valance)

Absolutely nothing of substance here...

So... feeling strange. I've got anxiety tonight, and it bothers me. (This happens on occasion.)

In any case, unless I calm myself down, I'm going to work myself into a very interesting state and won't be able to sleep. Then I'll lie awake worrying all night.

Good lord, isn't there a way to turn our brains off? Seriously.

And we're having the house appraised, so there is housework coming out of our ears and it's intimidating and I have no ambition but I'm the only one home all day so guess who gets most of the work? That'd be me. And Mom's so anxious about it all that she doesn't see what's been done, but only what still needs to be done. And my brother gets all pissy if you ask him to do something.

>_<

And I said I wouldn't panic about the job search until August.

Well, it's August.

Panic is commensing, but I'm trying to keep it at a minimum.

So, anyway.

Oh, I found a HP fanvid to The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

It amuses me. And is quite good, so you ought to check it out.

And thanks to [livejournal.com profile] xenokattz, I now want to find appropriate "models" for my Founders. In other words, I want to cast them.

::headdesk::

I OUGHT to be writing about them, really.

Also, apologies for setting off minor wankage with my last entry. I didn't mean it, I promise!

Hey, I watched the HP vid! I'd never heard the song, and now I'm intrigued. It's a movie, too, right? Which came first, the song or the movie?

Oh dear lord, I've been obsessive this week about it. =P Follow the tag. ;) (It includes a bit of synopsis/analysis on the movie I wrote last night...)

It was a short story first, really, then they made the movie and the song was written for the movie and released around the same time... kind of a tie-in. (But it's not in the movie at all, oddly.)

Sorry to jump in here, but when I had to Wiki frantically for that inane interview question you gave me, it informed me that they intended to put it in the movie originally. The song actually became a Top 10 hit, but they couldn't use it because of some huge mistake between Paramount and the recording company.

*is dorky & intrusive*

*can remember minute trivia, but not what she's supposed to be doing*

I wish I had an off switch. I've been having mild insomnia for the past few weeks, where I get really, really tired but as soon as I lay down I'm wide awake and don't fall asleep for hours. It also makes me write really long, drawn-out run-on sentences.

Mom's so anxious about it all that she doesn't see what's been done, but only what still needs to be done.

My mom is exactly like that when we move. >_< She drives us all crazy. Best wishes and let me know if you need more half-nekkid!Sawyer pics to retain your sanity.

For some reason, I find it incredibly funny that there's an HP vid for Liberty Valance. I mean, really, every possible HP crossover has been done.

Cast them!! I don't have really definite images of them, just very vague, so you can mold & twist my mind. =)

[identity profile] lady-sarai.livejournal.com 2006-08-17 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
Everyone can use some half-nekkid!Sawyer. ;)

I was all excited to watch a LOST rerun tonight and instead? George Lopez. I almost cried.

I really was amused by the vid. Beyond the fact that if you go by the story, it maybe should have been Ron or Neville everyone thought shot him (but it was really Harry)... Good lord, *I* just crossovered it.

Meanwhile, Draco made a better Liberty than the Liberty in the movie.

I think I might just cast them! ;) In talks with my co-conspirator right now.

[identity profile] scribophile.livejournal.com 2006-08-17 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
I KNOW! What's wrong with you, ABC?

See? SEE?? Doesn't that make sense?? Although I hopethink Harry'll die in the end. (Not that I don't like him or anything. I just think it'll be better if he dies. God, I'm morbid, aren't I?)

Hee, really? Now I'm almost tempted to rent the movie.

::shoves you toward the movie store::

I've already written up a post about it, even! I have no one to discuss it with! ;)

::tempts you with movie-poster!icon::

I'll see if they have it - they're remodeling, and their selection is woefully lacking. But I'll check, because you are a vile influencer.

::looks angelic::

Sawyer loves this movie.

[identity profile] scribophile.livejournal.com 2006-08-17 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
In that case, I better run over there right now and camp out until they open in the morning!

[identity profile] lady-sarai.livejournal.com 2006-08-17 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
::laughs:: But Sawyer would miss you while you were gone. He says you may as well wait. ;)

[identity profile] scribophile.livejournal.com 2006-08-17 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Well, if Sawyer says it's okay... I think I'll wait in bed, then. I need to stop waking up so early, because it has the nasty side effect of making me sleepy.
