Remember Cedric Diggory!

All right, based on my newly discovered adoration of Cedric Diggory, I spent the night searching the web for good Cedric-centered fic.

Sadly, my last post comprises the best fics I could find (or at least my favorites), and there are precious few.

So, I am sending out a call. A request for Cedric stories.

Cedric GEN stories, specifically.

Most importantly, canon-compliant Cedric fic.

Cedric alive and well, Cedric growing up, Cedric BOOK-CANON fics. I'll take Cedric/Cho! I'd love Cedric interacting with other characters. Cedric and his parents... the other champions... teachers... Even characters discussing Cedric after his death!

I'd like book!canon-compliant Cedric fic.

Because we say "Remember Cedric Diggory," and how better than in fanfic?

That, and I'm a bit of a stickler for canon. And the book has so much MORE of him. ;)

I claimed Cedric over at fanfic100. So far I've written three really, really short gen fics: Bruise (http://www.livejournal.com/users/everyflavor/4813.html), Cedric and the Sun (http://www.livejournal.com/users/everyflavor/5479.html), and Bed and Bath (http://www.livejournal.com/users/everyflavor/6348.html). I also have a Cedric/Cho short (Unrefined (http://www.livejournal.com/users/everyflavor/4987.html)) although in my opinion it's a bit OOC. And then there's a Cedric/Luna story (Sink and Fade (http://www.livejournal.com/users/everyflavor/3435.html)) that totally came out of nowhere, haha.

Anyway, it sucks to rec my own stories, but I'd love to hear what you think.

This is one of my favorite fics ever. Its Cho's POV, but deals with her after Cedric dies. Its short and just so lovely. 6 Ways of Unpinning a Butterfly (http://www.geocities.com/happyfeetfics/6ways.html) by by Seri Black (http://www.geocities.com/happyfeetfics/welcome.html).

In the Country of Last Things (http://www.livejournal.com/community/hp_literotica/117983.html) was written by eudaimon and is really a lovely piece with other students thinking about Cedric and his death.
