Just when I'm in a thoroughly "crawl into a pit and DIE, humanity!!" mood, it plays something like "You Oughtta Know."
I love angry!Alanis Morrissette. Oh, 8th grade.
Excuse me while I belt out some angry and bitter lyrics now.
On other notes, today was fine and nice. Went out to dinner for Mom's birthday (yesterday) and we had them sing for her and she was shocked. It was fun.
The evening was fun, too; we played Rummikub all night, which is more fun than it sounds because we CHEAT like CHEATERS. (Or try! Actual cheating somehow eludes us.)
But it's been incredibly hot today and tonight I dragged out the window fans and lighter blankets and my dust allergies went kerflouey and the cat scratched me when I kept him from trying to eat the lilacs and my back hurts and ugh.
And Theanna saw X-3 without me. ::pouts:: Peter fic, you.
And Ariel, get back here NOW and talk to me or come see me. I'm boooooooored and loooooooonely!

I had a delicious Wild Berry Bellini at Olive Garden tonight, btw. VERY good.
I'm going to go read Trickster's Queen now because it's calling me. And then sleep so my back stops hurting and my stomach can get over whatever the hell has been bothering it since Wednesday.
....And I just checked and my grades are posted for this semester.
I got an A in Medieval Lit, an A- in Toni Morrison, a B+ in Senior Seminar: American Lit, and an A in piano.
And a friggin' C+ in World Film, which I ONLY took to fulfill my STUPID fine arts requirements. And I NEVER got a paper back or ANY feedback from her, and I turned in everything, on time, and I'm sorry, but of I can write a 12 page critical paper on Toni Morrison and get an A, I ought to be able to write 4 pages on 10 seconds of a film adequately.
I keep telling myself this was a class that will have no practical use for my career as a teacher, and it wasn't part of my major OR minor. But it's my first C in college, and in my last semester. And it took my GPA down by 4 hundredths of a point. Which isn't MUCH, but it's ENOUGH.
I'm still cum laude.
The Ravenclaw in me is particularly prevalent tonight. And she's going to go sulk now.
