Can't help that day...
Well, I don't want it helped!
It is 49 degrees in the Greater Farmington Area and I am experiencing bliss. (I am also skipping my writing class, which is less than blissful.)
( Don't write picture books about the death of a family member if you want to be emotionally stable enough to attend class... )
ANYway. This was totally not the point of updating today!
Today seems to be one of those days when my brain just doesn't work right. I think it has to do with this glorious weather.
I'm a bit delirious about it. The sun is shining, the window is open, the breeze is all... breezy. I keep getting distracted by the cars on the road behind the dorm, and the people laughing outside and some guy with his dogs (DOGS! I want one!)... But it's goodness. I love Spring.
Meanwhile, still can't find the grass under the snow, but it is melting! Sounds like it's raining, actually, due to the insane meltage.
Strike that! Just looked out the window... can totally see grass next to the building! Woot!! ::happy dancing::
Of course, the snowbanks down in the parking lot are still taller than the cars. But! Meltage! Sun! Warm!
Am happy. Excuse my gleeful posting. I needed this, I think. Was feeling less than gleeful. Hee! :)
Thank you for Spring.
(Also, am very happy with Easter. I LOVE Easter. I think I like it as much as Christmas... I love Christmas for how Christmassy it is, and all the music and the decorations and the family goodness... But Easter... Yeah, it brings me joy. Been reading my Bible this week, and oh. Am so very happy. I can't wait for Sunday's sunrise service... We might/might not do Good Friday this year, but Easter... YAY!)
Christmas and Easter always make me smile.
Spring makes me smile.
I am smiling.
(However, Rob Thomas's new song... ::sigh:: Highly pop-ish. Makes me kind of sad. I LOVE Rob Thomas. The problem with it is... it's a bit addictive. It grows on you, and I think Steph might hit me if she catches me playing it. She's disappointed in him for it. Hmm. And if Matchbox 20 breaks up because of this, we will hunt him down and hit him with lime-filled coconuts.)
