Okay. Have read 2 of the 4 Toni Morrison novels I need to before the end of the semester. ::nods:: Today, it was
Jazz. Actually quite good. The ending was nice, although I have NO IDEA who the narrator was (I suspect the dead girl, but you never know).
Morrison is very heavy to read in a day. =P
Tomorrow, hoping to read my Norse mythology assignments for the next two weeks and write the paper due May 1st. And work on the Morrison paper I want to conference with on Monday.
Yes, marvel at me and my non-procrastination! This IS a sign of Ragnarok, I checked. ;)
And oo!
Got my tickets for Graduation today, along with the OFFICIAL news that I will graduate Cum Laude.
Go me. =D (I knew-or strongly suspected, with my cumulative GPA-but Mom did not. And she cried, which... was not the reaction I particularly expected.) Hee.
( Random graduation details )Speaking of which, went outside for a few hours this afternoon and burned my neck sitting on the back deck. =D Joy. Sun makes me happy.
And as I've completed my goal for today, which was to finish
Jazz, I MIGHT be able to write. I plan it all day, and the drabbles interupt my reading, but I open Word and nothing happens. Heh. =P
Am rather relishing the "cum laude" news, I must say. =P I mean, I graduated "magna cum laude" from high school, but this feels bigger. :) I discovered, through my transcript, that there was only ONE semester in which I missed the cut-off for this. 4 years is a long time, and I'm proud of myself. I'm Ravenclaw enough to admit enjoying and being a tad bit vain of my brains. ;)
