Last night of college... =(
May. 13th, 2006 01:39 amWell. Going to bed soon, for I am up far too early tomorrow morning, but... ::sigh::
It is my last night as a UMF student. My last night on campus. This is the last post I shall make sitting at my lovely desk (which actually IS lovely and I wish I could take it with me), with my dear roommate sleeping across the room under her eye-mask with her earplugs. (This is how we work it. ;) Heh.)
...It's so empty in here without the things on the walls or shelves, and everything in boxes. =(
AND it looks like rain tomorrow. Today was so rainy that I walked downtown and the rain had soaked through my rain jacket AND my shirt, as well as my jeans, by the time I came back. (Jeans are STILL damn, 10 hours later.) Tomorrow, they're saying worse.
I pout. Had a meltdown earlier, involving a 10 pm trip to Walmart for shoes without heels (in case we're in the gym), and a whole lot of swearing in the parking lot and a crying fit in the hallway. =P Not pretty, but there you are.
I'm an emotional sponge, I swear.
I'm glad to be done school, REALLY I am, but... I am SO going to miss living with Steph, and right down the hall from Tina, and having Katharine just barge in the room without knocking... Well, maybe THAT I won't miss. ;)
Senior Banquet was fun; got dressed up and had a lovely dinner. Got a UMF water bottle, and won a doorprize--a nice beach chair.
In Hufflepuff colors, no less.
=D
Going to sleep so tomorrow I can call to find out if we're having indoor or outdoor graduation, put the last of my stuff in the car, go to Dunkin' Donuts for breakfast with Steph, get dressed, curl my hair, put make-up on, finish any last minutes stuff and wait for the family to arrive.
Knowing me, I will run late. =P Ah well.
Here's hoping for a lovely day, no matter what the weather.
(But here's praying for sun!)
aradiachiba, have a MARVELOUS graduation yourself on Sunday. I'm there in spirit!! =) Enjoy yourself.
zoe_chan, good luck on your test tomorrow (well, today). You'll do so wonderfully. =) And have a safe trip, and give your sister a huge hug for me! :) (Ariel, give her one back!)
Good night, from UMF. 12 hours from now, I will be an alumna. O_O
