Oo, good day!

Today was a wonderful, wonderful day. Ariel rescued me and I left the house. And there were several hours spent in Borders. Ahh, bookstores. I bought The Last Unicorn and shall have to read it now! =D

Also, there was Mexican food. Yum.

And now, it is bedtime. Because tomorrow I chaperone my sixth graders on their field trip to Portland! Wee!! They don't know I'm coming, either and I'm meeting the bus at the news station before their tour. I'm so excited; I'm a surprise!

And crud. Forgot my essay for idol_reflection AGAIN. >_< Work on it tomorrow night, then. And hopefully post before midnight and teh deadline. Oh, I suck.

Except I'm a chaperone tomorrow! And we're touring CBS news Channel 13 and then going to USM for the planetarium show and then eating on East End Beach and then going out on Casco Bay for three hours on the mail boat! And then it's Captain Newick's seafood restaurant for dinner! Wee!! I'll be gone from 8 am when I leave until roughly 8 pm.

I can't wait to see my kids!

OMG so tired....

So beyond tired it's not even funny. I guess chaperoning a 9 hour sixth grade field trip and spending all 9 hours outdoors (and mostly by--if not ON--the ocean) will wear you out. Also, have had a headache since roughly noon. And my entire head now aches, which includes my neck. =P

But, had a wonderful day.

Will properly update tomorrow, perhaps with pictures from the (cue the song!) three hour cruise of Casco Bay. On the mail boat.

That was so cool. I am such a geek.

Meanwhile, 5 hours after getting OFF the mail boat, I'm sitting on solid ground and wondering why I feel like the living room is rocking back and forth. My inner ear must be off-kilter.

Ariel, IM me or comment about tomorrow. Or catch me in the morning. Or call me. I'm sleeping in, but anything after 10 is fair game. ;) (The cell phone's the best bet...)
