New layout and taking drabble/ficlet requests

So I watched an awful lot of TV today, and also Take the Lead, the movie with Antonio Banderas. I have a weakness for the teacher-who-makes-a-difference movies. (Gee, I wonder why.)

And! Changed my layout back to my old one by justaddlayouts, but I tweaked the background color and I made a new header! I love my new header--Spring Point in South Portland, ME. I took the picture this fall; I love Spring Point, and lighthouses in general and if my old harddrive hadn't eaten all my pics of Portland Head Light at Fort Williams, I'd use one of those. (As it's my favorite place on the planet.)

I've done no writing. >_< Oops. Going to work on finishing this scene and then it's bedtime.

I seem incapable of writing drabbles. Ficlets are workable, but they usually grow out of control. Note to self: work on this.

Huh, speaking of working on that... Requests? Give me something to do tomorrow in case my muses abandon me again. ;)

Narnia ficlet, Lucy (200 words)

merfilly requested something about Narnia and I just happened to have this started; it's one of those scenes that never made it into Lives By Breaking (the fic I wrote for yuletide. But there is absolutely no reason this can't be read on it's own. :)

( Queen Lucy is so happy, she feels she might burst and shower her joy over all of Narnia. )
