Consider this post a grab-bag of sorts.
Sep. 26th, 2007 09:13 pmSo I was looking at my
femgenficathon fic today and I realized that I created the document July 23rd. Which means that I have been working on it for over two months now. =P
This is noteworthy because that fic? Is completely responsible for what
zoe_chan and I lovingly refer to as the Rabid Crack Bunny. That breeds incessantly and with gusto. It is worth noting that with but a few exceptions, we have worked on this every. single. night. for the last two months.
So even if nothing's been posted, we have been working. ;) I just need to FINISH the darn femgen fic--and soon.

I like the new Macy's commercials, with all the celebrities getting ready before the store opens. They amuse me.
*
The principal asked me to sub next week and then the Tuesday after Columbus Day, the last two days being transitions days before the long-term sub starts. Which--meh. But okay. This means maybe the kids will know how to walk in a line before I leave. =P
Also, it was a million degrees today. Is it not September 26th? Did Mother Nature lose the memo? Because it was 78 degrees when the kids did their weather check at 9 am. And when I left the class thermometer read 97. >_< Imagine that, in a small room with no circulation and 21 eight year olds--who had gym class.
Tomorrow is early release, and as a sub I can skip the MEA workshops planned for teachers in the afternoon. This is a perk.
(Except for how Mom just said "you're going to come home and clean the house, right?" Um... no, I was going to nap. =P And we have an informational meeting about knee replacements tomorrow night. Fun.)
*
My car has an appointment to get its brakes fixed on Monday. I can handle this. ::repeats like a mantra:: 3 more carpooling days.
*
New TV! JOY!!! Premiere week. I am a happy duck.
*
Dancing with the Stars looks like it will be awesome this season. I approve. I also approve of the "Stars of Dance" segment--tonight they had a bunch of really awesome tap dancers. However, the really stupid segment with Kenny Mains can die.
*
Private Practice starts in 17 minutes--yes I am so counting down, yay! Taye Diggs! And ADDISON, I love Addison! =D And the Grey's finale left me feeling pessimistic enough that I *have* been looking forward to the spin-off than to the original. Heh.
*
HEROES!!!!!!! And
zoe_chan watched it. =D Yay! (We *do* still need to have a season 1 marathon, you know.)
I had things to say but can I think of them? No. Except that I do love that show. It's a little weird to watch with commercial interruptions and to not be able to plow through ten episodes in a day. ;)

Oh! NEW SHOW IS ON!!!! YAY ADDISON!
