zoe_chan and I set this in our Altering Fate verse, which--pretty much all you need to know is that Cissie went back to being Arrowette, joined the Titans and she and Tim fell in love. Human Error is part of that verse, if set many years before this ficlet.
This doesn't happen to Superman.
