Luckily, I ended up only catching the tail end of it. But I did manage to come through Westbrook during a time when the rain was absolutely sheeting down and I could practically see the contact points for the lightning. I love the storms, so it wasn't too bad, but the no traffic lights on 25 in Westbrook at 5:45 wasn't so fun.

The barn was definitely something else. At least three other cars stopped to take pictures of it with us. It's Gorham, not much really happens there... ;)

I hope they get power back soon too, but Larry bought a generator, so they now have the refrigerator, freezer, and furnace again. (And maybe an electrical light) Mom was really excited to get her generator. She's been wanting one for a long time. Silly Mom.

Dad pretty much escaped unscathed. He thought that the really heavy rain was being hit really hard. (Though I do feel bad for him because that meant that they lost all of Friday to do getting the outside ready for the shower stuff)

I am glad that Mom's house is okay too. And a little surprised, since they live in the middle of the trees.

I LOVE YOU TOO! ::HUGS::
