American Idol killed my good mood.

Don't ask me about it. I might cry. ::glares::

I am not very happy with America tonight.

I haven't even the emotional energy to watch LOST yet! (Taped it. God bless the VCR.)

::sigh::

Three ten-second studies to go.

THEN I can read [livejournal.com profile] minisinoo's new chapter! Wee! She's so addictive. ;)

But oh, how I would like sleep. How did I cram ALL THIS JUNK into my dorm room? Seriously, it's only HALF of a twelve x twelve foot room. I filled the mini-van. And have more things still left to bring home Saturday.

My bedroom here at home is SCARY. Organized, boxed, suit-cased and piled scary, but... scary.

I can't see my desk. The piles have obscured view of the hutch.

My cats think it's the greatest playground they've ever seen, though.

My brother informed me that my mini-fridge is now his, since he's leaving for college in the fall, and yeah, makes sense so he doesn't have to buy one, but somehow I had it in my mind that I might be able to have it in a classroom at some point in the future. Hmph.

I adore my roommate's fiancee.. he carried the fridge from the third floor to the van. :) Bless him.

I made umpteen million trips from the third floor to the van, and then drove two hours and made umpteen million trips unloading the van and carrying it all up to the second floor of my house.

I hate the moving in/out process. This is the last time I have to do it. Egads.

.... I really am depressed. Stupid reality shows.

Hope you like the chapter. I'm glad to be addictive. (G)

(And it seems several folks are upset about American Idol. I've actually never watched it -- avoid it, in fact ... which sometimes causes me to miss the first few minutes of House. Haven't had any interest in reality shows since I tried, back in the '90s, to watch a few episodes of Survivor. Maybe I'm weird.)

Reality shows are my guilty pleasure. :) Survivor's getting old now, but I still watch it. My favorites are Amazing Race (which is fun partly because of the different cultures and sights and fun tasks they do, and partly for the adrenaline), Dancing with the Stars (I can't help it, it's ballroom dancing!) and, until tonight, American Idol.

The problem with this show is that it becomes a popularity contest and people vote because they're afraid someone will be sent home for a poor job and so the person who deserves to stay doesn't get voted for because everyone thinks he's safe.

I should probably vote if I'm going to care this much, but... I don't want to vote. It just strikes me as very unfair sometimes. =P

And I am very much looking forward to reading the next chapter!! :) Tomorrow! Wee!

Btw, somewhat off topic but ... I luurve that icon. Boy, is Hogwarts about to discover THAT. Don't mess with Badgers. (G)

Heee, yes. I love it, too. :)

(Made it in direct response to a conversation with a friend in which she called Hufflepuffs "slow" and "gullible." HA.)

I'm very much looking forward to seeing the Badgers in Action. ;)

I didn't watch, so when someone told me this morning, I thought they were joking. That is just... *fumes* I'm not going to bother watching it anymore, I don't think.

Well, moving sucks, but at least you don't have to worry about it any longer. And now you're finally finished! (Yeah, responding to your other post re: ten-second studies here, because I'm lazy like that.)

Chris was my favorite. I loved him. ::pouts:: I REALLY dislike Katharine and Taylor, so that leaves me Elliot, who my mother likes... I'll watch, but will do so grudgingly. Hmph.

It's nice to be finished... I will FEEL finished when those papers get turned in. Flightly professor told us to turn them in at the Art Gallery... which has been locked all week. >_< Ah well!
