Ahh, catching up on the f-list literally has taken all morning and part of the afternoon.

I adore not having a life. :) (No, really, this is a highly enjoyable Saturday.)

Therefore, meme! Taken from everyone and their monkey's uncle:

Comment with the name/title of a fandom I'm aware of, no matter how obvious you think the answers will be, and I'll reply you with the relationships -canon or not - from it I ship. I'll give favorite romantic relationships as well as favorite platonic ones. Also, you're free to reply in subthreads and ask me why I ship or don't ship something.

Name a fandom, any fandom. I'll let you know if I don't know it, but chances are I have some clue. ;)

Also, still curious as to who gifted me with this paid account. I'd love to do something for you--request something? Please?

I want to write.

Eee, my favorite show EVER. :)

My OTP is Cristina/Burke.

Also (re: OTP), I adore the idea of Izzie/George and have since the first season, but now Izzie needs time to heal and George needs to grow up. ;) So, later on, YES to them. They're ridiculously cute, and I think they'd do well together.

I didn't like Izzie/Denny at first because I KNEW she would get in trouble, but then I wound up liking them anyway and now? She breaks my heart. Poor Izzie.

Izzie/Alex, when it works, is cute. But I don't see it working, ever. It's self-destructive for whatever reason.

For a while, I wanted Addison and Derek to work things out, but Derek is SUCH a McAss that both women deserve better. I'd say Addison/Finn (McVet) might be fun. ;) If cruel. If Mark were less of a sleaze, I might ship Addison/McSteamy. But even though he's GORGEOUS, I'm not sold on him as a potential partner for Addison. (Whom I adore.)

I liked George/Callie, but Callie made some Bad Decisions and George was rebounding. So, no, not going to work.

Meredith? Eh, she and Derek can get together. I call them Ross and Rachel, and really don't care much about them. =P

Platonically?

I absolutely adore the family dynamic between the interns, especially when George, Izzie and Meredith wind up in the same bed commiserating. And Bailey is the best EVER, and I love that she's the parental figure for this dysfunctional family.

:)

*nodnod* I agree about everything! I'd like to see Addison/Finn, if only so we can keep Chris O'Donell on the show. Heh. He's cute! McSteamy is nice to look at but he is pretty sleezy. Bleh.

I'd like Burke/Cristina a lot more if I didn't know Isaiah Washington was kind of a perk in real life. *sigh* I really, really liked them up until I found that out.

Yay! I know, I've had a crush on Chris O'Donnell for so long that I remember using his name for MASH in 4th grade. ;) When he appeared on GA, I literally started squeaking and pointing, and everyone looked at me like I was insane. Being an adult WORKS on him. ;) I hope he comes back. McSteamy is absolutely beautiful, but yeah, sleazy.

I know. I try to ignore that information, because I love BURKE so much. (Except he was pretty harsh on Izzie, but I guess someone needed to be... and everyone's pretty much ignoring his pleas for help.)

Oh, this SHOW.

I would really LOVE to see Izzie/George, but it has to be done right and they need to wind up little old people holding hands while sitting in rockers on a porch, so I'm willing to wait. ;)

Chris didn't do much for when he started acting. Then came that Batman movie, and he got all buffed out and cut his hair and WOW. Hi, honey! I had a picture of him on my wall when I was fourteen or fifteen. *sigh* As good as he looked then, though, I LOVE the way he looks now. He's still gorgeous, but not quite so unattainably. There's something sweet and comfortable about the way he looks now. I approve muchly.

So do I. See, the only reason I like the last two Batman movies (not counting Batman Begins, of course), was... Chris O'Donnell. Even if they messed up Dick Grayson's story and the plots make me wince... I still watch them. For Chris. =P

But now? Oh, dear LORD. My *mother* told me she should have listened when I gushed about him years ago, because now she finds him attractive. This should scare me, but instead I feel justified. ;) "Sweet and comfortable" definitely fits. He looks like someone you'd bring home to meet the family. He filled out nicely, too.

My OTP is Faramir/Eowyn. Definitely.

I love Faramir, and have a soft spot for pretty much any relationships involving him. So, platonically, I ADORE anything involving Faramir and Boromir. I like it when fics explore Denethor as not being a COMPLETELY evil, neglectful father, too. The whole family intrigues me.

I love Faramir/Aragorn, platonically, too.

Any and all of the hobbits, too--love their friendship and family dynamics.

I adore the friendship between Gimli and Legolas.

Actually, I love the whole Fellowship and the family they became.

Aragorn/Arwen is also sweet.

I also love the relationships between Eowyn, Eomer and Theoden.

I think, in LotR especially, it's the friendships and families that grab me and make me interested more than the romantic pairings, you know? But Faramir/Eowyn has my everlasting love. :)

(I've been thinking about you! I hope everything is all right!)

I pretty much know the answer to this one, but I'll ask anyway. ^^

Harry Potter.

Hehe!

Well, OTP-wise... Helga/Salazar. Utterly strange, no basis in canon, Founders pairing? Why the heck not? =P Their love is so doomed and tragic. ;)

Canon-pairings I adore are Ron/Hermione, and Harry/Ginny. I love love love Arthur/Molly, and Bill/Fleur.

I am growing fond of Remus/Tonks.

I like Remus/Sirius, but I think post-PoA is not an option--they're too changed and emotionally damaged. School years and pre 1981, I'm all for it. :)

I adore Cedric/Hermione, thankyouverymuch [livejournal.com profile] minisinoo. =P

I'm very fond of Rowena/Godric.

Luna/Neville is ridiculously cute.

I adore the friendships, and the entire Weasley clan. I love the trio. I have an obsession with the Founders. =P

My brain has suddenly and inexplicably shut itself off and I can't think of any others. But I'm sure they're there. With HP, almost more than others, I tend to be drawn towards gen and friendships/family relationships more than love and romance, although (obviously), I find plenty of ships to sail! ;)

I'm curious...X-Men? My OTP is Gambit/Rogue, and I also really liked Scott/Jean. I adored Father Figure!Wolverine and Jubilee. BUT! I mainly just watched the animated series on Fox Kids, and didn't really follow the comics that much.

Ooo, X-Men!

OTP is definitely Scott/Jean, with Gambit/Rogue coming in a close second... and as my introduction to X-Men was the movies, there is no logical reason for that second OTP. But there it is. I ♥ them. :) ([livejournal.com profile] xenokattz has an awesome fic where she has "casted" Josh Holloway as Gambit... and ooooo, that works for me. ;) Heh!)

I also like Father-Figure!Wolverine and Jubilee, and in movieverse, Jubilee as played by Rogue. ;) I like Wolverine anyway, but generally in a less romantic way. I love the dynamics between him and Scott a LOT.

I LOVE father-figure!Charles Xavier and Scott. And Jean. I really like Xavier/Magneto and the strange little family they make when you throw in the original five X-Men--Scott, Jean, Bobby, Hank and Warren.

I ADORE Warren. =P [livejournal.com profile] minisinoo writes a fantastic Warren, and somehow made me ship Warren/Scott/Jean, but read Grail before you judge me. ;)

I love Warren and Scott as friends, too, and for that matter, the friendship between Hank and Bobby never fails to make me smile.

Generally speaking, I love any sort of family dynamics, and the X-Men? Are definitely one screwed up extended family. ;)
