Question: what does conjunctivitis feel like as opposed to... other eye ailments? Cause the eye is wicked bloodshot and it's been a LONG time since I had pink-eye. But the pinkness could be in direct relation to the rubbing and fussing I've been up to, as OMG IT HURTS!!!

Conjunctivitis is pink-eye, right? You might have something in your eye. Try flushing it out with something. Do you have saline? You might also have a small scratch on your eye. Um, you might want to see an eye doctor if it persists.

It is indeed pink-eye. I'm living in constant fear of it, since I teach, but I can't remember it being *quite* so sharp a pain. (Granted, it's been since roughly 5th grade...)

I'm hoping to avoid the doctor situation, as temporary job=no insurance. >_< Ugh. But, hitting up the drug store for eye drops tomorrow, if it doesn't heal miraculously overnight.

Did not know you're doing NaNo! Brave you, I'm too cowardly. Isn't there some sort of link to your author's page on the NaNo website...? If you know what I'm talking about, then I'd like to see, but if not, just strike out that last sentence. =D
