Safety in Maine

I love Bob Marley. (Note: Comedian from Maine. No reggae.)
I just discovered that Coast 93.1 has Bob Marley call in every Tuesday morning. And they're all online for our listening pleasure!
Because it amuses me. And it's Maine. Here are a few favorite moments.
"I put the Maine Security System into application. And a lot of you have this already and you're not even aware of it. But one of the ways is you take the two-by-four and put it in the slider door. 'I don't know how anybody evah broke in, I got a piece of wood down theah.' Sometimes you hang the windchimes out there next to the slider and you hear those chimes go off, dude, make your way down the stairs--someone's trying to break in."
(True story--my grandparents DO use wood to keep their sliding door locked shut.)
Talking about crime:
"In Falmouth, they found a blow-up doll in the woods that was valued at $6,000. $6,000 doll in the woods in Falmouth. If they had found it in Cape Elizabeth, it'd be worth $8,000. If it were in Biddeford, it would have been a Glad trashbag."
::snort:: That is probably only funny if you know Maine. But, OMG. So true.
Friday, Feb. 2 on Comedy Central is his special. Dude, so watching.
I have nothing of substance to say.
Except I'm still annoyed that I never managed to go see him when I was at college. He graduated from my school, so he goes every year and does a show. But no one would ever go with me, so my senior year I said "I'M GOING!!" and then? I had a class. ::headdesk::

HAHAHA =D!!
My brother saw him a few months ago and loved him, and for some reason I think my parents saw him with some friends a few years ago... and I'm pretty sure he was at my High School a couple years ago... but yeah I've never seen him. I've watched clips of him online, though, and he sounds pretty funny =).
