Yuletide and NaNo
Oct. 7th, 2007 12:26 amSo, I'm definitely doing
yuletide again this year--heck, three of my four requests were filled from last year, and I love them all, and I love the fic I wrote--so it's a win-win. (And yes, I am poking my flist to go play, too, because it's *awesome.*)
I just have no idea what I *want.*
So--what other holiday exchanges does my flist play with? Is there anything I should be aware of and checking out? ;) Anything worth looking into?
And
nanowrimo... A lot of you are doing it. I am... wavering. I feel almost like if I sign up, I'm setting myself up for failure--last year, I barely got 100 words in November, and when we tried again in January, I didn't hit 40k. Which I know isn't indicative of anything that might happen THIS year, but I don't have any thoughts or ideas, either--possibly that's just this week. =P Possibly it's also that I've been writing the same things since August and I love it and I'm happy in my fandom sandbox. And the no-pressure.
Also, the job situation continues to hang over my head. >_< More so now that my last KNOWN day of subbing is Tuesday.
I would really like this incredibly crappy period of my life to be over, plzkthx.
Wow, this post took a turn. In any case. I need to think a bit more on the NaNo decision.
