Horridly late, I know. But whatever. I haven't done a Frankenmix since September and this CLEARLY needed to be remedied.
So, I present my Ideal Romantic Comedy Soundtrack.
EtA:
scribophile is a bad influence. Instead of writing more gay sex, I made a zip file of my Frankenmix. It's here, if you'd like. :) NOW for the writing. Really.

And, seriously, I made a major, major, MAJOR mistake yesterday by finishing Twilight and then, when my internet was down, starting New Moon. Which so distressed me that I then freaked and did something I HATE doing, which is SKIM so I could read a quickly as possible and make sure everything turned out right in the end. Because I was furious and upset and OMG. Can nothing go smoothly? I mean, I never loved Romeo and Juliet because I got impatient with them and their miscommunication and was not as emotionally invested in their love story as I am in Edward and Bella's. So. I cheated and now will have to re-read because I am not sure I remember the whole middle section at ALL. I will make a post sometime when I've reread both these books. (Also, again I say, Edward. I ♥ you, you melodramatic drama queen. Or king. Whatever.)
And now I am all flaily and I CRIED (very seriously) and dammit. I love Edward and it's not fair. I will NOT get sucked in and obsessive about these books right now. February, maybe. Not NOW, when I've been doing so well with my Bruce/Richard drama.
This is seriously causing flailing on my part because Bruce and Richard are not a) meant to be together forever, omgtheirloveissoconfoundedlyperfect!. No, it's more like omgtheirloveissotoxic!whatareyoutwodoingtoeachother?! And b) neither of them are vampires.
Please don't make my brain hurt by suggesting that the latter is possible. I know Bruce is Batman, but really.
Maybe it will help if I go reread that sex scene I wrote.
ETA: Tread carefully in the comments; some not-terribly-specific-but-potentially-spoileriffic discussion of Twilight and New Moon happening there. Mostly, it's fangirlish squealing. But still. Walk with care.
