Here it comes...

I have a feeling
5_gratitudes is going to be particularly important to remember to do in the next two weeks, and also a bit more difficult.
Just saying ahead of time that I'm likely to be moody as heck, so thank you for putting up with me? =P
Let's see... Tomorrow we have an actual *dumpster*--of the 15 feet, 2 ton variety that you see at construction sites--being delivered to the house. We'll have it until NEXT Monday, which means that starting tomorrow we will be purging the house.
Which means getting up, teaching, coming home, eating take-out, cleaning, going to bed, doing it again. And next weekend will not have the teaching as a break. (HA.)
We're going through every cabinet, closet, corner, drawer and nook and cranny of the house and getting rid of things--we'll be making a lot of trips to Goodwill, I think.
Why are we doing this?
Because on April 16th, my aunt and Mary arrive from California, and on the 17th, they are meeting with realtors about selling my grandmother's house. ::sigh::
So--Bo will be here from the 16th to the 21st, and over *those* 5 days, we have to completely empty my grandparents' house so that when they leave, we will have it on the market and be done with that process.
Which means needing places to put the things from that house we aren't getting rid of, which is why we have the dumpster from the 7th to the 14th.
>_<
Today was going to be a good day of resting and relaxing for the last time for two weeks, but instead we got a phonecall from my grandmother's best friend and wound up rehashing exactly how she died and how sudden it was and how horrible we have all felt about it, and THEN we talked to my aunt and found out she had to put her cat to sleep this weekend. (He was having seizures and the vet wanted to try putting in a *pacemaker.*)
So--needless to say, my class better get their act together, because their teacher is not likely to be in the best mood these next two weeks. =P
Edit: Totally snagged a meme from
blackrosebard.
That... amuses me. Greatly.
