Grey's finale!! And a quiz!

lady_saraiFirst--today was not as terrible; my principal was peeved at the class for yesterday, so she came in and gave them a blistering lecture before school started. Recess found four of them in the office, with a fifth on in-school suspension for the day. (5 out of 17. Yeah.) (And that only because sending her home would not have been as miserable for her--she spent the day in a fourth grade classroom.)
Second--GREY'S!!!!
OH GREY'S I LOVE YOU! I have flail.
1st--BAILEY!!!!! Made of win and more win, as per usual, but with added STAR WARS GEEKITUDE!!! I made dolphin noises and flailed my arms and my mother looked at me strangely, but OMG BAILEY KNOWS RANDOM STAR WARS TRIVIA AND EVEN STUFF FROM THE *EXTENDED UNIVERSE* SO SHE MUST READ THE NOVELS HEEEEEEEE!! *collapse*
Also, her scene with Izzy at the end? Killed me. I cried. And thanks for the reminder that the clinic is named for Denny because I wasn't emotional ENOUGH. ;)
And LEXIE I LOVE HER SO MUCH. I was kind of irked at how she read the files and was obnoxious about them, but it was good and oh, she is in love with George and I could kind of get behind that. She is adorable and I absolutely love her.
Speaking of GEORGE!! Oh, GEORGE--ask and ye shall receive? Heh.
Oh, and Cristina. I adore her and Meredith and their friendship; it fills me with joy. They are so ridiculously awesome. She gave Cristina the Sparkle Pager. Oh, Cristina. I love her and YAY for getting herself back together and for standing up to Hahn. Even more than that--OMG CRISTINA!! TEACHING LEXIE!!!!!! ::squeal!:: She's trying to be better than Hahn in everything, I think--which extends to teaching, which is made of win.

THEY WENT THERE!!!!! ZOMG ERICA AND CALLIE! O_O!!
I wondered if they would, a few weeks ago when Addison was here and said that she and Callie seemed like lovers, but then I dismissed it when this sent Callie running to Mark's... bed? On-call room?
I've been DYING to talk to someone about it since last week, though, because it started to look like they might go there, seeing how Callie reacted to a) Erica kissing her in the elevator to shock Mark, and b) the way she reacted to Mark's threesome dirty talk.
I didn't think they'd really go there.
BUT THEY DID!!! And I might love it.
AND THEN!!!! The clinical trial couple was adorable and heartbreaking and made me cry, and I love them and how it turned out (except for how he died, but oh). And how is that I was screaming about what an asshole and jackass Derek is and at the end I'm still teary and cheerful when he and Meredith met up? Seriously.
Oh, and the Chief and his wife!! Eeee! Yay!
Andthenandthenandthen! ALEX. Break my heart into pieces, why don't you? Oh, Alex. You poor, poor boy. (Also, that is not how you should slit your wrists, Rebecca. Apparently my fifth graders know this--don't ask, it was an odd overheard conversation--so you and everyone else should too. I wonder if it was an intentional thing, having her cut them that way? You'd think so; the medical stuff is usually more accurate.) ANYWHO. God, Alex, to have to take care of your mother like that when you were little? No wonder you are such a screwed up adult.
AlsoImightmaybekindofbeabletogetbehindAlexandIzzie. ::cough:: Not now, clearly--he's too damaged, but if he does some healing, they could be good together. He's much less of an asshole these days. Also, he cried and it broke me.
Derek and Meredith? ::sigh:: Just when I think they are better off apart, they do *that* and I love them again. Damn it.
Meredith, somehow I love you. A lot. Still unsure how and when and why this happened, but it's not changing and it's just growing and I love it. This is how you do character growth, people. Seriously. I'm not sure she's ready for building a house, but HOW FREAKING ROMANTIC AND SWEET and she talked about CHILDREN which is HUGE and oh.
I also like how she and Rose were interacting. It was very professional (well, mostly) and mature and adult. Rose will be sad, which is sad, but Meredith has been quite mature with her. Which--is more than Addison was, as much I adore Addison. (Of course, the situation is different.)
Oh, show. I'm sure there's more, but I'm all aflutter and aflail. A finale that doesn't leave me hating you or in nail-biting angst-ridden suspense or heartbreak? But one that makes me feel like I can't WAIT for fall and the new season?

It's true, they DO sound the same! (Also, there was no option for saying "horrible" so that the "o" sounds like the vowel sound in "are." ;) Ditto for "orange" but that wasn't even on the quiz.)
