I want to go back to bed. NOW. ::pout:: I stayed up too late, then got up at 8. This is not fair. This is my month of sloth, before camp (and therefore work) begins. Bah. But, got up early so I can go to bed early tonight. Because if 8 was early, tomorrow's going to be downright EVIL. Gotta pick Theanna up at 5... yes, 5 am on a Saturday. So we can drive 2 hours to Farmington to take a 2 hour standardized test to prove we know everything we'll ever have to know as teachers.
Bah on that. Can I say how much I hate these Praxis exams? I already passed the Praxis I, come on. Stoopid "highly qualified" reforms. 'Cause, you know, it's all the teacher's fault. Something's wrong with the schools? Blame the teachers! Bad teachers, bad! You must jump through MORE hoops! Jump, teachers, jump! What? You say it's not bad teachers, but lack of professional support and funding? Oh, you lie. Bad teachers! Bring out the FLAMING hoops! Jump, teachers, jump!
::cough:: Excuse the vicious snark. I resent this test MUCHLY. SO much. I have to get past this insane degree of indignation and anger over this to study some more before tomorrow. ::sigh:: It's just annoying, and stupid.
But I have kittens, who bring me joy. :)
Spent some time with Tina last night... Oi. That Vermont weekend is going to be interesting, to say the least. She's still stuck on Joyce, who "doesn't want a relationship," while she tries to avoid Katie, who is "still in love" with her. And all three will be there. Along with their friend who I don't know well, and my freshmen and Stephanie. At least I'll have Steph and Katharine and Jenna. Especially Steph. For she will keep me sane and keep me from saying anything I don't mean. Yeah. (It might go more the other way around, but still.)
What did I say about not missing high school? Yeah. Witness the ensuing college drama. >.<
All right, off to watch Animal Planet, as it is the kittens' preferred TV channel (I kid you not), and study for the EVIL exam. EVIL spawn of Satan exam. BAH.

Date: 2005-06-10 02:19 pm (UTC)And you'd think they could be scheduled for later than 7:30 in the morning, wouldn't you? Wouldn't be bad if I was still up at school, but home is 2 hours away. Woot.
