Okay, can I quit being an adult? Seriously.
El suckage.
>_<
Whoever invented the resume and cover letter should be dragged into the street and shot. But only after writing MINE for me.
I'm one of those people who HATES those uncertain, in-between stages of life.
Which, unfortunately, is where I am.
I've had a migraine looming since 3, and it's still just... THERE, waiting to come out.
On the upside, Mom took Mo to the vet today! Little Mo, who has scoliosis and is therefore... um... crooked. He's our crooked kitty.
Anyway, when we got him, we brought him to the vet. Who said she wasn't sure how long he would live, because he was TINY.
He was 1.6 pounds at the beginning of June last year. The vet didn't think he'd get very big, and she was CERTAIN Chip would be alpha male. Mo had/has an upper chest deformity, and she thought his heart and lungs would suffer for it.
Well.
=D
Today, she ate her words! She hadn't said anything before, but today she told Mom that Mo's heart is SO STRONG. She said all his bloodwork was PERFECT. She said he was obviously "adored and very well loved and thriving."
Which was SO worth every little worry we've ever had.
And they've been far and few between of late. Damn cat's even snubbing his food lately, since we switched him to adult food, which has different flavors. He likes the turkey and salmon, won't touch the chicken. Also, Mo totally rules the house. Poor Chip even waits until Mo's finished eating before eating himself, half the time.
And. They weighed Mo today.
Over 8 pounds.
Hell, we knew he was bigger. I suspect he's bigger than Chip now, but next week will tell that, since we can no longer fit them in the same carrier at once. Heh.
But, our baby's healthy and the vet isn't at all worried about him anymore. Which is so great to hear!

Um, yes, that is me. (Although I'm not sure what I was *doing.*) And my HAND which is roughly Mo's size. Munchkins indeed!

This being the same bed as above. Yeah. Munchkins, who grew up a bit!

When we first brought them home, poor babies...

I offer this as proof as to how large they have grown. That gray thing on which they are sleeping? It's what we had in the kitty carrier in the FIRST picture.
And there we have it.
I'm avoiding working on my resume, but I have an appointment to have it looked at tomorrow so... better do that anyway. Ugh.
